Safety Awards or Bonus Programs

These programs can take many forms such as Safety Awards, Staff Awards, Loss Time Injury, Scheduled Bonus, Shutdown Bonus, Completion Bonus or End of Project Bonus. If donated, your company will not be taxed for these awards and Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation is able to retain the full pre-tax value.

Example of Safety Awards Partnership:
BP Refinery Kwinana recently completed a massive industrial onsite “Turnaround” project which involved work by over 900 employees and contractors.  Thanks to the outstanding safety performance of the team, BP Refinery Kwinana provided a Safety Award totalling over $35,000.  The workers generously elected to donate the entire amount to equip two treatment rooms at Princess Margaret Hospital for Children with pain management equipment.  This will help distract children of all ages from the trauma of painful medical procedures.  Less stress will lead to quicker healing, thanks to the safety of BP.
