Cause Related Marketing (CRM)
CRM is a powerful positioning and marketing tool which links a company to a charity in a corporate partnership for mutual benefit. It utilises the power of the brand to publicly demonstrate a company’s commitment to addressing worthwhile causes. Commonly, businesses adopt a CRM program by donating a percentage of their sales to charity.
How will your company benefit?
Evidence shows that a well designed and executed CRM program commonly leads to improved:
• sales
• public perception of the brand
• staff motivation, recruitment and retention
• social objectives (customers are motivated by the difference a company is making)
PMHF will provide a dedicated staff member to work in close partnership with your business. Together we will tailor the best CRM strategy to help you achieve your business goals. You may also choose to combine a CRM campaign with another of our Companies Caring for Kids programs.
Examples of CRM Partnerships:
Every Easter, Bakers Delight works in partnership with PMH Foundation to fundraise for sick babies. In this CRM campaign, Bakers Delight donates $1 to PMH Foundation for every six-pack of hot cross buns sold. Both Bakers Delight and PMH Foundation are involved in organising the event. Last year over $22,000 was raised to purchase six syringe pumps. These were donated to the WANTS service which transports sick babies to hospital.
Lifetime Distributors is a book selling franchise which works closely with PMH Foundation in a CRM program. For every book sold in WA, Lifetime donate a percentage to PMH Foundation. To date, Lifetime have donated over $250,000 and are currently funding two staff members in a new groundbreaking research project at PMH.
