Julian Walter graduated with a Bachelor of Business degree from W.A.I.T in 1972. From there he moved into the housing industry and founded J-Corp in 1983 which grew to a turnover of $275 million per annum. In 2003 he formed the JWH Group, the holding company for Oswald Homes, Rural Building Company, WA Country Builders, Residential Attitudes, In Vogue Living and Metro Style. The group, which builds around 1,500 homes a year, has been involved in numerous charitable ventures including Telethon and Trek Homes.
